Agribusiness & Food Processing

Agriculture is a crucial aspect of any economy as people cannot do without food. In Canada, we are fortunate to have food security, this is an elusive goal for many people. Innovations in agricultural technology hold true promise for fostering global food security. We aim to utilize novel agricultural technology to contribute to global food security and the drive to end hunger (SDG’s 1, 2 & 3).

International Development & Trade

Trade fosters development. With our global links we aim to find new markets for Canadian products internationally and new markets for international products in Canada. This will improve Canadian economic resilience, reduce inequality within Canada and between Canada and other nations, and provide a bridge for further partnership on sustainable development (SDG’s 1, 8, 10 & 17).

Clean & Affordable Energy

Trade fosters development Clean, sustainable and affordable energy is one area that impacts on several of the sustainable development goals. We see it as an extremely important enabler for development because it puts the ability to create economic value in the hands of ordinary people while safeguarding the environment. Our goal is to develop sustainable clean energy projects among energy-starved communities both within Canada and internationally (SDG’s 7, 8 & 13).

Digital Technology & Innovation

Today, access to efficient digital technology is an enabler in every aspect of human life. Digital Innovation & Technology can be used to drive efficiency in areas as divergent as healthcare, agriculture, trade, logistics, transparency, human rights and the setting up of credible institutions. Our goal is to utilize digital innovation as a catalyst to drive innovation, especially in emerging economies with low internet penetration (SDG’s 8, 9 and 16).
